Purchasing Restaurant Booths For Your Dining Establishment

You are opening a new restaurant soon and are about to make decisions about the seating arrangement of the furniture. Four tops, deuces and rounds of six or eight will make up the bulk of your arrangements but you are considering adding restaurant booths for cozy and semi-private dining. This will add both charm and comfort to your eating establishment.

The seating in these areas can be manufactured with a variety of materials and special fabrics. These may include wood, leather, vinyl or upholstery. Select a material that works best for the use it will get. A formal restaurant would probably need an upscale product such as leather or a brocade upholstery while a casual venue such as a coffee shop would look for something that is easy to clean such as vinyl.

Restaurant supply companies will have what you need and if they don't, they will have other sources for you to review and order from. Check online sources for ideas and descriptions of units available. Draw different variations of the table arrangements on paper before making your final decisions about size and placement.

If you are on a budget, seek out sales and auctions at restaurants who are closing and have these pieces of dining furniture available. Many can be redesigned or reupholstered at a fraction of the cost of buying new ones. They may have to be cut to size to fit in the spaces you have in your venue but will be well worth the extra labor and materials.

If the floor plan of your establishment has many nooks and crannies and is very unusual in shape, you may have to have this type of seating especially made. Your first challenge would be to fit the benches in the spaces provided and then tables can be either purchased or made to fit these areas. Measurements would have to be extremely accurate to ensure a perfect fit.

Always keep your customer in mind when designing a new floor plan. The benches and tables should be placed where quiet and intimacy are a priority but they are still easily accessible. They work well along a long wall but are also very appealing in the corners of a dining area. Place them out of the high traffic employee and guest paths and away from the kitchen doors to keep the ambiance intact.

The beauty of this type of food service furniture is that it works equally well in both casual and formal venues. Coffee shops, cafes and breakfast establishments use these arrangements to provide a quick and quiet place for dining and conversation. Gourmet dining venues and upscale steak houses also provide this type of seating for romantic meals and discrete and private dinner meetings.

Locating and purchasing the perfect furniture for your dining venue does not have to be a challenge. It is well worth the time and effort to install what your customers would enjoy and utilize. Keeping your client needs in mind at all times can go far in promoting your establishment.
