Best Ways To Handle Google's Latest Algorithm Updates

By Yusef Naser

There are two strategies that people use in order to reach page-one rankings on the search engines. The first is called on-site optimization and the other is called off-site optimization. On-site optimization pertains to designing your website in an appropriate manner, with links going from your sub pages to your main page.

By following the rules that Google has presented, and complying with their updates, you can actually benefit from what they have done, and profit based upon the Google Panda and Penguin updates that come out every couple months.

The first step to this strategy is making sure that you are using a service or software program that is able to generate links from different locations. These locations should be authority sites that Google respects. They should also be created on a random basis, without providing a footprint or pattern for Google to follow. Finally, the backlinks need to have variable anchor text so that you can look completely natural.

Finally, you need to add some high PR backlinks to your website. These can come from either follow or no follow links. They follow link means that the link is passing link juice to your website, helping it to move up in the search engines. A no follow is theoretically not passing any link juice, but depending upon the website, it may actually be providing help based upon its authority.

By consistency, we mean that the links need to be gradual, from different types of websites, and should vary in page rank as well. By complying with the Google Panda and Penguin updates, you will be able to rank high in the search engines by simply complying with what Google is looking for.
