Allowing Online Marketing To Bolster The WWE Network

By Arthur Williams

If there's one piece of news that's been the source of many pro wrestling news articles, it would have to be the WWE Network and the way in which it has reached one million subscribers. This service has been vying for said goal for quite some time, which makes it even more tremendous that it's been met. However, there are ways for greater success to be seen. When it comes to advertising, I believe that certain online marketing strategies should be considered.

As someone who has seen early problems with the WWE Network, I can confidently say that they have been all but ironed out. Keep in mind that the Network has been rather shaky during live streams, which has been fixed in due time. While some problems may pop up now and then, they aren't enough to be deal-breakers. It's also worth noting that subscribers are tied to a no-commitment contract, which basically allows them to drop the service whenever they'd like.

If there's one issue I've had with the WWE Network, since the beginning, it would have to be the service's slow production of content. Even the uploading of older shows, it would seem, has been a sluggish endeavor that I had to wonder why the process had been taking for so long. New content is understandable, given its exclusivity, but older shows? Nonetheless, I found myself using the Network since its inception and, in my experience, it's been a worthwhile endeavor.

If you want to talk about greater online marketing strategies, there are quite a few which can help the WWE Network in the long term. Advertising can be done on this platform, which goes without saying, and the services linked to firms the likes of fishbat can prove to be more than useful. You have to consider that said firms have been able to use websites like Facebook and Twitter, which is effective to say the least. However, it is the way that propositions are made that helps to create results.

Do I think that WWE will have problems with the Network moving forward? This does not seem to be the case, especially after there has been so much positive press directed towards the service in recent times. However, it can always benefit from a bit more, which is where I feel like platforms linked to social media can come into the picture. Who's to say that this won't make the difference between minimal growth and another million subscribers?
