No. What about social media that give you entertainment? Life will suck without it. And what if cellular phone was not discovered, can you still imagine the world without it? Definitely not. Probably lots of things that you want to do that are listed mentally on your mind whenever someone will give you an iPhone. For sure, one of those things are taking some pictures of any landscape or take a video of yourself, connect to a wireless network and then upload it on social media sites. Very convenient, right? As you decide to buy your first new smartphone, you sometimes ponder about the brand that you would purchase. Perhaps most of your friends will recommend you the best one like iPhone or Samsung. Yes, you may buy either of them, depends on you. However, you also must think about whether you would buy from a carrier or not.

The real matter lies on where you must purchase it. Will it be from the makers, the carriers or perhaps the retailers? Now what is the difference on the devices there? First, carriers like T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon, sell those phones that are locked. Those types of device only use one network depending on its carrier.

Buying unlocked phones allows you to use any other service provide. In short, it gives you more freedom on switching unlike its counterpart. So whenever you travel to other countries, you could buy a SIM card exclusively on that country and use it. This feature cannot be done with the locked device. However, its major disadvantage is the price. It would really cost you more than hundreds of dollars to purchase it.

Usually, people faced this problem of not being aware that their devices are locked. Upon realizing it, they somehow get shocked that they cannot have access in other networks. So that you will know the condition of your phone, try switching its SIM card with other that is dissimilar. If that does not work, then your phone is lock.

To answer the previous question above, that smartphone is still not useless. You could still unlock without losing some money. Customers can still unlock it by contacting the carrier or maybe just wait for the contract to end so it will automatically goes unlock.

Many individuals still prefer buying the unlocked smartphones. To avoid some hassles about not connecting with other network, then just buy those phones from the maker directly or perhaps you may try from the retailers like Amazon. Sometimes, they might be on sale and when that moment comes, then grab that opportunity.

You really have to be knowledgeable of the products that you will purchase. That way, regrets will not happen. And lastly, your money will surely not be wasted if you choose wisely.
