The history on the American national flag starts on January 1, 1776, when American forces were placed under George Washington's control under the 'Grand Union' flag. It had 13 alternate red and white stripes and the British Union Jack in the upper left-hand corner The canton.

In 1777 from fort Stanwix for the first time the national Flag was flown. It was first under the flame for three days after the fact in the Battle of Oriskany, August 6, 1777. The United States National Flag is the third most established of the National Standards of the world; more established than the Union Jack of Britain or the Tricolor of France.

The United States National Flag is one of a kind in the profound and respectable criticism of its symbols to the world, with its national, personal, optimistic, and patriotic senses. And this is the start of affection to cherish the National Flag until it stays the only symbol of unity.
