However, even though people know that it is something derogatory and unpleasant, there are still a lot who close their hearts and continue looking down on those they deem as inferior to them. It does not matter if the sport is basketball, soccer, golf, or ice hockey, racial prejudice is there. Such discrimination hurts not only the players but the fans as well. People should move toward the reduction or total elimination of racial prejudice. Otherwise, there will be consequences that will arise because of that. Since there is ill-will behind the words, there will surely be an increase in the current likelihood of retaliation from them. Not all people are born to just tolerate painful situations, after all.
